Out of Africa Wildlife Park

25 miles south of Sedona
4020 North Cherry Rd.
Camp Verde, Arizona

In Out of Africa Wildlife Park, mesquite-shrouded slopes and arroyos make a realistic habitat for African animals. Tram tours or (better yet) Mercedes trucks travel among hooved animals including giraffes who are hand-fed by passengers. Be on the lookout for those long necks reaching in when you're looking the other way!

Another highlight of Out of Africa is the predator feeding (three days each week–inquire before going) when handlers propel meat into animal enclosures. You'll want to join the throngs of enchanted visitors trailing behind the feeding truck cheering the food throwers and observing the hungry animals devouring their prey.
