El Rey Court is the King of The Road—Route 66, that is, America’s Mother Road across the Continent. For more than eighty years, this has been the keystone of the Santa Fe section of that nostalgic highway. It continues to retain the charm of its origins while incorporating all of the latest technology. Extending well back from the highway, numerous whitewashed adobe buildings are surrounded by mature trees and luxuriant gardens that also sequester a near-Olympic-sized pool; a big whirlpool in an enclosure with a graceful fireplace; and a sauna. Continental breakfast is complimentary. In 2018, a full-service lounge was added primarily for guests. All individually, beautifully furnished rooms and suites showcase a seamless blend of contemporary amenities like mini-refrigerators with authentic Santa Fe-style decor and furnishings including beamed viga ceilings, artistic woodwork and ornate tinwork and tile. Many have private garden views or mountain-view balconies, full kitchens, and either raised corner wood-burning or gas kiva fireplaces.
